Joe Hay Celebration of Life Ceremony 2.12.12

What a beautiful day in Newport Beach to memorialize the beloved Joe Hay who left this earth way too soon. It was standing room only as people spoke about the impact that Joe had on so many lives, including that of so many high school football players and some who now play in the NFL. John Hay gave a great talk about Joe's life growing up and how he was fearless when it came to the Grand Canyon and the Kern River. Joe McGuckin also spoke highly of Joe as well as current NFL Philadelphia football player Jon Dorenbos, what a great success story! Cindy Tanis had kind words about Joe and his dedication to higher education and of course local news reporter Curt Sandoval had encouraging words for the 400-500 people who attended Joe's celebration of life ceremony.
